Overview
This CQI and IRCA Certified ISMS Auditor training course will equip learners with the knowledge and skills to assess organisations’ information security management systems to ISO 27001. The course covers the management systems approach to managing information security risks, and the requirements of ISO 27001 and ISO 17799. It aims to provide delegates who have an existing, basic knowledge of, or experience in, quality management with an understanding of the management systems approach and the requirements of ISO 27000, and to provide a basis for delegates who wish to go on to complete CQI and IRCA Certified ISMS Auditor Training courses.
Successful delegates will be awarded a certificate in foundation level for this course.
Indicative study time: 7 hours
Assessment: Assignment
Recommended prior knowledge:
- Management systems: The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
- Information Security: A basic knowledge of the concepts of information security management
- ISO/IEC 27000: An understanding of commonly used information security management terms and definitions, as given in ISO/IEC 27000

Transfers are permitted one time only within the calendar year. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing via e-mail no later than 7 business days before the programme start date. You may transfer into another training event that will be held before September 30, 2027. If you are unable to send a replacement, you forfeit your registration fee. If you are unable to attend the programme to which you transfer, you may send a replacement. All transfers and cancellations must be made in writing to connect@makewayglobal.com
