A Data Protection and Governance specialist, Martin trains and consults for various organisations on data privacy, leading to governance, security and virtual DPO service offering. He is an accomplished and experienced information/data governance and information technology specialist and an approved trainer in data protection, programme management and information security.

Martin has over twenty-five years’ experience within both the private and public sector, where he has successfully managed and delivered technology-enabled programmes for Global Shared Services, Media, Telco and outsourced services providers. He represents international organisations as their Data Protection Officer (DPO), in addition to delivering training and outcome-based consultancy services to individuals and corporates within industries such as healthcare, insurance, finance and technology.

He holds certifications from the IAPP, BCS, APMG and Peoplecert/Axelos. He is certified to deliver courses in MSP, MoR, PRINCE2® 6th Edition, ITIL, ISO20000, ISO27001, Lean Six Sigma, DevOps, AgilePM, CISMP and EU GDPR (CIPP/E & CIPM and GCHQ Certified GDPR).

An effective negotiator capable of managing diverse stakeholder groups and their expectations at all levels within an organisation and present effectively at board level, he is able to present complex conceptual ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
